* WATCHMAN WARNING: WHAT WE HAVE GOING ON - THE FINAL STEPS

  

There will be fearful events, Jesus said of our time.  People will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea, he said.

 

All that just happened.  No one on the west coast of Florida, the Gulf Coast side, ever expected the storm Helene to have serious impact on them.  It was over a hundred miles away and supposedly heading north to come ashore in the panhandle area of Florida.  Then suddenly there was the many feet of storm surge and terrible destruction of cities and houses on that west coast.

 

Far away, five hundred miles north, in the mountains of NC people were living in Asheville and Boone and smaller towns like Chimney Rock and many more.  Five hundred miles!  Hurricanes were for the coast surely.  But not so this time.  Helene arrived at an area already saturated with many inches of rain.  And it just poured more on.  Then a flood ensued unlike anything anyone living had ever seen.  Massive destruction and loss of life.  We still don’t know the full extent.  The rescuers haven’t gotten everywhere to check it all out yet.  Too many trees down, not like we are used to seeing – a tree here or there.  No, this is piles of trees all together that take long, long periods to remove.  Buildings and cars wrecked and piled up.  Hundreds of roads damaged and cut off.  Bridges out.   And hundreds of people still missing.

 

The flood is of Biblical proportions some say.

 

Some try to compare it to the great flood there in 1916 but of course no one was around then.

 

And at the same time this is happening Iran sends many missiles into Israel, and the Middle East is turbulent indeed.  And the Ukraine war just continues.  Nation against nation.  Wars and rumors of wars.

 

Final signs.  These are part of the final signs.  Jesus outlined events of the last days.  Those days are here.

 

We are at the time of the Lord’s return.  Most people just do not know.  Serious believers know if they are paying attention.  Not anyone else. 

 

So we wait to hear his command, the angel’s shout, and the trumpet.  And we will be off, leaving behind huge numbers of people who do not know Jesus, including no doubt a significant number who thought they were Christians but were not born again, not born of water and the spirit as Jesus said was a requirement.  They had been let down by their church or by their own thinking.  They did not do the will of Jesus’ father.  They did not have the same innocent faith as little children.  And evidently they just did not truly believe.  So many in their churches and in some places their pastors themselves will be left behind.

 

Time.  It’s time.  You can continue to try to wake people up, to tell people the truth.  Lots just don’t want to be bothered.  They don’t want to hear.  Lots already have been caught in the deception of the evil one and even have fallen into delusion.  Some have just never paid attention or apparently even been able to hear the truth of God.  Many others get angry and protest in cities and universities for anti-god causes although they can’t understand they are on the wrong side,  They line up in support of vicious and blind opponents of the Jews and they support the LGBTQ movement in all its ramifications.  They are spiritually lost and will live in the Tribulation.

 

We believers all have to keep in mind that only God the Father can draw anyone to Jesus.  We can’t.  We can speak to others about Jesus and the gospel and the return.  We can pray for God the Father to draw these people to Jesus.  But then we have to let God be God.

 

Soon.  Soon the Lord will be here.  And we believers will be gone.  Comfort yourselves also with realization that some come to know the Lord during the horrible Tribulation period.  In Revelation John the disciple sees countless Tribulation saints in Heaven.

 

I don’t know how many more storms like Helene will occur or how extensive the wars will become or how many other natural or human disasters will occur before Jesus arrives.  Hopefully none.  One thing is for certain.  He will be here soon.

 

Another thing is certain too:

 

Some things are now happening on earth we have little or no control over.  Not all, just some.  I think we still apply the power of prayer in all situations and use the authority Jesus has given us at all times.  But just realize there may be moments that possibly we can’t change.  Jesus is coming indeed at the appointed time.  That time is set.  And it is soon.

* IT'S TIME: JESUS AND HIM CRUCIFIED

Jesus is God.  He is a member of the Trinity – God the Father, Jesus the Son of God, the Holy Spirit.  He is the King of the Kingdom of God.  He is the head of the body of Christ, the CHURCH.  All things are under his feet. 

 

Jesus’ CHURCH is that collection of people taken out of the world to form a new society of which he is the head.  It is not those brick and wood buildings on the corners, although some people in those buildings might be in his CHURCH.

 

In the most extraordinary act imaginable, this Jesus came from the spiritual world that created earth and all beings to

 

• live among people,
• demonstrate the power of God,
• teach the people the truths of life,
• take upon himself everything that separated people from God,
• allow himself to be tortured horribly and killed by the same beings he had created,
• earn forgiveness for these beings for their sins against God,
• restore people to a relationship with God,
• and so much more.

While his mother and his disciple John and some other believers watched his crucifixion in horror, all those human beings led and guided by the devil carried out their evil work much as so many lost on the earth are today led and guided.

 

This Jesus is returning any moment now to collect his believers, those among all people who have realized who Jesus is and have him as their Lord.  They believe in him absolutely.  They have been born of water and the spirit.  They seek to do his father’s will.  They have the same innocent faith as little children.

 

He comes in the air together with an archangel.  Jesus gives a command, the angel shouts, and there is a trumpet call.  The dead in Christ rise first, then all believers still living on earth.  All these believers meet Jesus in the air, where they receive spectacular new glorious bodies to replace these current human bodies.  All these believers who have lived in perishable bodies will now have imperishable bodies.  Their mortal bodies will now be replaced with immortal ones.  And thus they will be with the Lord, with Jesus, forever.

 

When he collects his believers he will be gone again, only to return at the end of the coming seven year period of horrors on earth known as the Tribulation, a time in which evil seeks to rule and God pours out his wrath on the world.  At that return he and his holy ones, the angels and his believers, will come first to Armageddon near Jerusalem where they will confront an army of people from many countries under the leadership of the evil world leader, the antichrist.  Jesus himself will win the battle there with the sword coming out of his mouth, the WORD.  Jesus is after all the WORD.  All those soldiers fighting against him will be killed.  The antichrist and his assistant, the false prophet, will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, the eternal hell.  And the devil himself, who so long ago led a rebellion against God, will be locked into a deep pit.

 

Then begins a thousand year rule of the Kingdom of God on earth.

 

Jesus.  It’s time.  Believers can’t wait.  Everyone else doesn’t know what is going on.

* SIGN OF THE TIMES: WHO IS JESUS COMING FOR?

Not so long ago right in the midst of a service the Lord stepped in to tell me to tell people who he is and that he is coming soon.  We continued always with the preaching, teaching, healing, and more, but the focus shifted to the Lord’s coming soon.  Over the years he shared more and more – directly and through other means.

Over and over he spoke of his CHURCH.  “Help me find my CHURCH” is one of his words to me.  And I have tried.  Jesus’ CHURCH is that group of people on earth who truly believe in him, who have him as their Lord.  It has nothing to do with what denomination or local church they belong to or where they are on earth.  The members of Jesus’ CHURCH are currently working on ships at sea, building houses in difficult areas, cleaning up the streets of cities after riots, working to feed those who have no food, raising families, crossing the desert on a camel, fishing the bayous of Louisiana, riding a horse herding cattle in Argentina, sitting in a pub in London.  You don’t know where they all are, do you?  One thing – they truly know and believe the Lord.  They do what he says.  They have that new spirit in them that comes with being born again.  They are guided by the Holy Spirit.  They operate in the authority and gifts the Lord has given them.

Soon – and by that I mean incredibly soon – Jesus will come to get them.  It has really been long enough hasn’t it?  Almost too long for the believers.  But God knows the moment.  And suddenly the Lord will be here.  A trumpet blast!  A shout!  Angels sent out to collect the CHURCH.

And in all the places I just mentioned above and countless more people will just disappear.  In neighborhoods people will realize one or two of their members haven’t been seen for a while.  In individual church buildings the same will happen.  In some of those churches nothing will change and no one may notice.  In others several may depart.

Remember the Lord’s words about the numbers. “…wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Mt 7:13-14)” It will not be a great percentage of the people, not a great number. Years ago I researched the meaning of the word translated “few” there.  I looked at the original Greek of the New Testament, at least as original as I could get.  And here is the conclusion: The word translated “few” means in fact “few.”  That’s it.  Few.

Remember what the Lord said shortly after that point: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.(Mt 7:21)” Jesus did not mince words.  He made it clear.

So the few will be gone, however many that is.  Soon.  Incredibly soon.  Remember my sharing the message I got not long ago – we only have hours.  Well, that is where we are.  Just don’t know how many of those hours we have.

* OH GOD! HELP THIS LOST GENERATION OF PEOPLE AND "CHRISTIANS"

Recently a pastor was bemoaning the fact that the church has gotten off-track, away from the primary teachings for this time.  I understand his very real concern but I have more to say.

First, we need to remember what the CHURCH of our Lord Jesus Christ truly is.  That CHURCH is the collection of all born again, Spirit filled and baptized people in the world wherever they are…in a field, in a business or farm, in a worship service on Sunday or not, on a boat, working in a ditch, wherever.  Its members all should be guided by the Holy Spirit.  They should have and use the gifts of the Spirit.  They should understand the authority they have in Jesus and the divine gifts such as spiritual healing.   They should look with spiritual discernment upon all that happens.  They should realize the times we are living in, the last days just before the return of the Lord.  They should be focused on doing what they can to help God draw others to Jesus.

Notice I said “should” many times.  Sadly, even some in this great true CHURCH with the definition I used of that CHURCH still are not operating in all those things written above.  Some have drifted away.  Some individual congregations may have been guided away from the razor sharp focus they should have on Jesus, the gospel, and his imminent return, being guided by the Holy Spirit in all things.  Certainly that is possible.

On a much larger scale however is that great group of denominations and individual churches that I describe with the small letter word “church.”  These include many of those impressive buildings made of brick and stone and other materials throughout the country and world, some enormous physically.  So many of these have turned for decades to focus on social issues.  They have completely missed the need to be born again in many cases, and in almost all cases save for a few have missed the wonderful Holy Spirit and the reality of his guidance in our time.  They do not preach about the imminent return of the Lord nor do they preach the full gospel message of Jesus Christ.

I would maintain they are not part of the “CHURCH” at all.  When Jesus comes and collects his believers, those going with him will be the true believers, those truly who know him.  He gave several criteria for that which I have written about more than once – the need to be born again – or born anew - , the need to believe in him (meaning serious, serious belief), the need to do his father’s will, the need to believe like little children.  The great missionary Paul gave the criteria of confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead, again the word believing being a serious belief.  I just point out one essential thing here – if someone is your Lord, then you do what he says.  You obey him. He is your boss.  What did Jesus say to you?  Read all he said in the gospels.  And consider whatever else he has said to you in prayer.

So many people have not spent time reading the Bible or searching out the truth.  So many naïve and in truth lost people have forsaken their own efforts and just attend a program on Sunday mornings in one of those buildings I referred to above to listen for twenty minutes to a message of little depth and no life-saving consequences.  They are putting their trusts in the preachers and the little time they spend there.  Yet some of these preachers are not even born again themselves!  How can they know the truths of God in their hearts and teach others?

God is all about heart.  It is your heart Jesus speaks to.  It all has to do with God and you.  One on one.

* WHAT IS A BELIEVER IN JESUS CHRIST TO DO TODAY?

For many years now we have sent out through various channels lots of information and revelations about Jesus’ imminent return

Why?

Because the Lord has specifically told me to tell people about his return. 

Because the Lord really is coming very very soon to collect his sheep, his true believers, his CHURCH.

What does it matter that we send all this out, beyond of course that we are fulfilling God’s assignment that the return message is my message right now? 

It matters that this is the time that the Lord is returning.  It matters that most people do not know the Lord and most certainly are not ready to go with him.

(We still of course heal people as they ask and teach on all the gospel subjects, all very important, but that is not the primary focus.  Jesus has made it patently clear to me that our ministry focus now is his return.  Think about it.  What does it matter if a person is physically healed but doesn’t get into the Kingdom?  That person is still lost and set up for a horrible eternal existence.)

One hope – if all this we send out indeed reaches people who are not true believers or perhaps are just on the fringe of belief – is that all the shocking evidence that the return is upon us will press them to seek the Lord themselves, to seek more truth in whatever sources are available to them.  God can use this to wake them up to where we are in time and that they are in a precarious position.

The other hope, perhaps even the major impact, is that these writings will encourage believers and equip them to get out there to reach more with the gospel truths of Jesus and his imminent return.

The challenge for all believers today is to do all they can to reach those who do not know the Lord and thus will miss him when he comes to collect his sheep.

There is little time left.  The events of our day and recent years make that patently clear.  If you are one of Jesus’ true believers, you are a member of a royal priesthood.  Christ’s priests and missionaries are not just for taking the good news to distant lands; they are also for taking that news right here to those around us.  Where you live is a huge mission field.  Most you encounter in daily life probably do not know the Lord and will not be going with him unless things change in their lives.  I’m talking about some of your neighbors, your friends, your family, your relatives, your co-workers, many of those you know and encounter.

Now I realize how hard it is to know how to reach others for Christ, to get to those who are so difficult to engage with, to listen and consider.  And it is not fun to have people rebuff you when you are talking about the most wonderful thing in your life.

Since Jesus is returning soon, it should be obvious that when he picks that small group of true believers in him and takes them with him, the rest of humanity will remain to suffer the wrath of God spelled out in Revelation and the atrocious behavior of the evil one, the anti-christ, and the false prophet.  So if you care at all for other people, at least those in your network of family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, relatives, you should seek how best to get the truths of the gospel message to them.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to orchestrate encounters, to soften hearts to receive, to arrange whatever he would.  It may not be easy for you to engage in head to head evangelism, but the Holy Spirit can set up situations that work even for you.  Don’t force things.  Let the Holy Spirit be your guide.

Aside from meeting other people in a head to head discussion, you can do such as some of our ministry partners do.  One sends our CDs on Jesus’ return (Prophecies Fulfilled, The Importance of Israel, What Happens Next?, and Where Are They?) plus our other CDs about Jesus and about the Holy Spirit to those she knows throughout the country.  Another prints out copies of our newsletter and gives them to neighbors.  Another forwards them by email to a large number and tells them how to be added to our distribution list.  Another in a national ministry actually sent one recently throughout the country to her network.  And another at times includes our newsletter in his publication. 

I myself when dealing with people far away often direct them to watch our television programs that are on our web site.  You can do the same.  People then can watch these in their own homes in private and think and pray about it all. We have many there on the return and other subjects.  People around the world have had their lives impacted by those television programs.  How do I know?  By the telephone calls and emails and other communications they have sent.  You can also tell people to go to our blog, search for the “return,” and read many of our writings on this subject (our newsletter archives on the web site are another good source).  I hope you realize that God reaches people in many ways – through one-on-one people interactions, through newsletters and books, through videos and such, and even through direct encounters of the person with God. 

I know it is hard to reach those who do not know the Lord or who just attend church and think they know when you clearly see they do not.  And the truth is that no one can come to Jesus unless God draws that person to Jesus.  The Lord himself said this.  Still, the Lord does work through people.  And that is us, you and me.  The Holy Spirit is your guide and friend in all this.  And if someone does not respond positively, just do what the Lord did when on earth.  Go on to the next person.  Maybe what you have done will have impact in the future.  Or maybe not.  You can always continue to pray for the person to receive the Lord.  You want to help as many of your friends, family, and contacts as possible to at least have a chance to do so.

One final thought.  For those who might be left behind when the Lord collects his believers, you might leave behind in obvious places in your house or elsewhere CDs and writings and such that will help them in their upcoming difficult days and perhaps help in God leading them to Christ even then.  We have for a long time had a copy of our CD Where Are They? in a very visible place in our house.

* AMAZING: THE IMPORTANCE OF ISRAEL VIDEO SAGA - THE VIDEO THE DEVIL DID NOT WANT MADE!

Sometimes it is just good to step back and look at what has happened around us regarding some subject or the other.

In this case, our television program and video The Importance of Israel.

Some time ago when we were producing our television programs that were broadcast on various TV stations and that are now on our web video page and YOUTUBE, we went to the studio about once a month to record the programs.

One day we were there to produce The Importance of Israel.  I was sitting on the set, wired up with a microphone, lights on, television cameras on.  We were several minutes into the program.

Suddenly, from the left rushed the producer right onto a live set!  He had come out of the control room and he ran right up to me.  He grabbed the wires connected to me and jerked them off.  Then he explained. 

“I don’t know what is going on!  Never saw anything like this before!”  He was referring to all the activity on the electronic control instruments he monitored and adjusted as the video tape was made.

“I was afraid you were going to be electrocuted!”

So for the next several minutes he checked all the connections, looked over all his devices.  Eventually I was again hooked up and we got back to taping.

Then again!  Into the set he rushed, jerking all the wires off me.  Same issue.

“Someone doesn’t want you to make this program,” he said, maybe not knowing how wise he was in his remark.

But Cathy and I knew how wise that remark was.

“It is the devil.  His demons.  He doesn’t want this made,” we said.

So right there on the set, Cathy and I – joined by the producer - took authority over all demons, all evil spirits attacking us and the set and the producer and everything involved in making that program.  In Jesus’ name, we ordered all evil spirits away from us and the set and the equipment.

And then we were ready to go forward.

Again, I was wired up and we began to record the program.  It went flawlessly.  We produced the entire program.  It was fine.  We broadcast that program on various stations throughout the country.

 

And we posted it on the web site.  Or so we thought.

Several times since then I have suggested to individuals they should watch that program.  About two weeks ago for some reason I was looking at our video page on the web site, and I clicked on that program, The Importance of Israel.

A video began playing on the screen.  But it was not The Importance of Israel!  It was another show!

I checked several times.  And then I notified the person who handles our web site.  He checked it out.  He examined possibilities.  The fact was inescapable that The Importance of Israel was not on the web site!    Even though the title was there, the program was not!

So he worked to install it again under its proper title.  There were technical hiccups in the whole process.  It took a little time and again ordering the evil spirits away from the equipment and process and all involved in Jesus’ name.  But now, it is correctly up.  And we have even posted it on the home page so a user can click on it immediately.

Here’s the message:  The evil one never really gives up.  We order him out, he and his evil spirits, in Jesus’ name, and they leave.  But they don’t give up that easily.  They try again and again over time, in different ways, until they are firmly convinced they are not going to be successful and then they go on to some other attack somewhere.

In this case, The Importance of Israel was a really big important subject, one the evil one tried in more than one way to stop from being seen by others.

In your and my lives we have to be alert and discerning to recognize when we are truly being attacked by the evil one and then in Jesus’ name to do what the Lord said.  Take action.  Order out the evil spirits in Jesus’ name.

And protect yourself as well by putting on the armor of God as described in Ephesians 6.  Thank God for his wonderful angels, his ministering spirits, he has sent to serve you as per Hebrews 1:14.  Ask and thank God for their protecting you and wherever you are.

We are in a horrible battle right down to Jesus’ coming.  We are Christian soldiers.  The time is intense and the battle is fierce.  Keep your spiritual eyes and ears open.  Use those gifts of the Spirit!  They are all important.  And remember what Jesus said you can do in him.  Remember your authority in Christ. 

So now I am posting this on my blog and on our web site, and sending it to our email distribution list.  And happily telling you that you can watch this video that took such an effort to produce and get out there.  Unless you saw it on television, you evidently never saw it on the web site or YOUTUBE.  It just wasn’t there.  But it is now!!!! Praise God.  Just go to the ministry web site and click on the home page.  This is the video the devil did not want made.

I was in college when Cassius Clay burst dramatically on the scene.  I remember when he shockingly beat Sonny Liston and became the heavyweight champion.  And I remember his surprising and creative personality, his bold declarations delivered in poetry.  And then in the following years not just his boxing victories but his bold behavior too that caused turmoil in the country but gained him great popularity.  He grew and grew in stature around the world, and I think I remember at one point his being recognized as the man known by the most people on earth.  I expect that was true.

He was an exciting and colorful and obviously talented and bright individual.  And his death provides another really strong teaching moment.

Muhammad Ali was a muslim.  Early on he left the name Cassius Clay and became Muhammad Ali.  A muslim. And at his coming funeral there will be muslim prayers.

A muslim.  A follower of a false religion.  So what does that say about where he is now?  Nothing good at all.  For such an admired person loved by so many, where he is right now is not good at all.  And using Bible prophecy and words about people like him, he will not be resurrected until after the thousand years following the tribulation (Revelation 20), when he will face the white throne judgement.  Not a good position to be in.

All this adulation on television, all this endless praise.  And yes he was indeed wildly successful and influential in this world.

But look at where he is now.  Not in this world.  Not anywhere you want to be. 

How many more highly successful and popular people could I write this about?  How many of those offering such praise now think or know about this?

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8:36)

* THE SLEEPING AMERICANS

On July 4 a pastor gave a rare sermon in which he bemoaned the fact that most Christians in America have not recognized the signs of the end times that have been happening and do not know we are at the very end of this age, the time of the return of the Lord.  He also was concerned the church does not preach this.

Well, let’s not waste time here.  You have heard me say over the years that Jesus’ CHURCH is the collection of people throughout the earth who truly believe in Jesus Christ.  In his own words, they have been born of water and the spirit.  That is his criteria for being in the Kingdom of God.  In the words of the missionary Paul, a person who confesses Jesus is Lord and believes in his heart that God raised him from the dead is “saved,” in other words, is in the Kingdom.  Jesus’ CHURCH is not all these brick buildings on street corners and all the varied denominations. 

I try not to use the word “Christian” because all those people who attend all these church buildings on Sundays and other days apply that word to themselves.  And the media apply that word to them.  And members of other religions in the world apply that word to them.  But a large number of those who attend those buildings do not meet Jesus’ or Paul’s criteria.  They only know Jesus intellectually, as someone described in a book, if even that.  Many attend particular church buildings because they grew up in them.  A church service on Sunday today may deal with contemporary issues or feel-good subjects, or it may be a cold and boring time people sit and endure or slumber through to get to the end and feel good for a week that they went to church.  One friend said after attending his son’s church that he never heard the word “God” mentioned.

Pastors of many of these churches do not teach about Jesus imminent return.  Not a surprise.  They probably don’t know about it.  They probably have not had any revelation of it.  For years now many pastors and thus many churches have also not taught about the Holy Spirit, have not recognized that Jesus is alive and well today and that healings and miracles happen right now, have not recognized what the disciple Peter said about the Holy Spirit - that the Holy Spirit was for every believer, those near and those far away.  Many don’t teach about the Holy Spirit because likely they don’t know the Holy Spirit themselves.

Where is the outrage against what is happening today in America?  Where is it?

The constant thumbing of the nose against God, ignoring his word and commands!  Where is the outrage?  There are still individuals here who know the Lord, who are born anew, who operate in the gifts of the spirit.  But they are few indeed.  I mean, really few.

When the Lord comes to collect his CHURCH, unless there is a giant spiritual awakening beforehand, the number going will be small indeed.

So many Americans are as if in a daze.  They have been beguiled by deception and false leadership for years in so many arenas, and they are lost.  Without being born again, without the gifts of the Spirit – including the great gift of discernment – people cannot tell good from evil.  They cannot discern the truth from lies even when a national leader speaks absolute falsehood over and over.

There is nothing that has to happen before the Lord Jesus comes in the clouds to collect his CHURCH and take them away.  We are at the threshold of the beginning of the seven year tribulation, a period of terrible wrath being poured out on the earth, a period no right minded person would want to endure.  Some believers think this period may have already begun.  I think we are at the threshold.

Many years ago one night the Lord gave me a parable.  He said if someone does a small thing and he does it over and over and I do not notice, soon I will not see it at all.  That is what has happened to the people in America.  Small untruths about what is legal, or what is moral, or what is acceptable, have been spoken and advanced.   As no one paid attention, bigger untruths and bigger lies were spoken.  And no one noticed so even bigger ones and bigger actions were taken.  And here we are.  If we look historically, we can see way back in the 1960’s how the nation began even then falling dramatically from God.  Look at the removal of prayer and God from the public school systems then.   And look at the horrors of the actions and beliefs of Americans and their government today.  Freedom as envisioned by the founding fathers never meant freedom to engage in every wanton depravity one could imagine, or freedom from individual responsibility and accountability, or freedom from God.  But that is what it means now.

Recently I wrote of how America is the Babylon the Great of Revelation 17 and 18.  What happens to Babylon the Great in the end times is not good.  But if you read and study those chapters and related ones elsewhere in the Bible, you will see no other country can meet the description given.

God is a patient God.  He is long-suffering and loving.  And he has been.  But he will not be mocked.  America mocks God by its very actions.  Imagine bathing the White House in rainbow colored lights to celebrate a Supreme Court action that totally flies in the face of God’s guidance and commands in the Bible.  Imagine using rainbow lights, for the rainbow was used by God himself after the great flood as a sign of his promise then. 

Don’t sit still in a dead, cold church that refuses to preach the return, that does not recognize the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit, that does not allow the Holy Spirit the freedom to minister to people in the church, that does not recognize the power of the gospel and that Jesus is alive and well today.  Don’t sit there!  How dare you sit there week after week!  Who and what are you!    As one national minister says, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.  Nowhere does the Bible say or advise you to go regularly to such a place!

Wake up, you essentially dead Americans!  Yes, dead.  We may as well go ahead and use the word.  You are effectively dead already by your beliefs and actions every day of your life.  Wake up.  Open your eyes to God.  Get the Bible and start reading, even if it’s hard to do so.  Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.  If you have never done so, ask God to forgive you for your life, for your sins.  Ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life.  Lord means he is the boss.  It means you do what he says and has said in the Bible.  Do you know anyone who lives that way?

May God please forgive the people of this country.  And the people of the world who have had the opportunity to know the Lord and still are lost or who have fallen away as well.  May he have mercy on all.

Yes, I pray that, but I too recognize that nothing is stopping what is happening.  Jesus will come at the appointed time.  God’s wrath will be poured out on the earth.  The end times are here.  There is no redemption I fear for the United States, for the words of the Bible are clear.  But there is always still hope and redemption for individual people.  God as always can and does draw people to Jesus.
