* THE "ONE-WORLD" GOVERNMENT, THE ANTI-CHRIST, AND THE FALSE PROPHET

This is an unusual document from us.  You might think it a political treatise at first, and maybe it is.  This coming one-world government after all is a real political thing.  It comes about in the political secular arena.  But we all need to know about it and to see how things are progressing in our time to it.  And we need to know about the two awful and mysterious characters who move about and gain power during the tribulation period.

Preparing for this one-world scenario is really what is going on and being fought over right now in the US presidential election.  Increasingly we live in a world where the government exerts an ever greater influence and control on our lives.  Rebellion against that is what happened recently when the United Kingdom voted to get out of the European Union.

Sometimes it is difficult even for believers to step back and see what is happening.  Let’s do that.  Step back.

What do you think all this open trade is about?  Removing all borders economically so goods move openly between all countries?  NAFTA?  The new Asian trade agreement?

You got it.  One world.  Move everyone to the same basic economy and standard of living.  In the US presidents from both parties for several terms have pressed for this.  In the simplest terms it sounds a good idea – free trade.  Oh but the repercussions.  The US obviously has to be brought way down to join in with the other nations.  Its economy is way too high.  Opening up to free trade will do that.  Nations with much lower income per capita will produce goods and ship them in, profiting at the expense of Americans.

And then the push to open borders.  Let people move willy-nilly around the world.  Again, one-world.  The open border that has really been in effect for years with Mexico brings in millions of people, taking the low income jobs in the US, driving down the average income, making the US more like other nations.

These are two obvious examples.  There are more.  Overall the push is to ever greater government control of individual lives, ever greater dependency of the individual on the government.  We have seen that in the Affordable Care Act, the medical insurance program put into place a few years ago which likely will eventually end up in just one-provider, the government.  We see that in the rapidly growing number on welfare and the rapidly falling number of people with real full-time jobs.

This election cycle suddenly millions of Americans seem to have waked up and have been screaming and yelling at political rallies for candidates that opposed the political establishment in both parties.  These people seem to have realized things have gone horribly wrong in the US.  They may not understand the spiritual side of the issues, but they surely know the times are desperate.

Most media members and establishment politicians in both parties who are so opposed to this anti-establishment movement are tied to the ever growing trend to greater government control, removal of individual freedoms, and  the coming one-world government.  It is the anti-establishment movement that they are afraid of.

There are numerous groups involved in this build-up to the one-world government that the anti-christ will try to rule.  It has been going on for centuries.  There have been attempts before.  Remember Germany in WWII?  Remember the Soviet Union?  Remember Rome?  What do you think the radical muslim jihadists are about?  The ISIS leader has publicly stated his goal of world rule.

LOOKING AT THE TWO MYSTERIOUS CHARACTERS OF THE TRIBULATION AND WHAT THEY DO
A one-world government needs to be well on its way when the anti-christ and his assistant, the false prophet, arrive publicly on the scene.  Obviously it is, right now.

Just who are these two unusual characters?  Operating under the power and guidance of the devil himself, both are described in Revelation 13 and in other Bible chapters noted at the end of this article.

In chapter 13 the anti-christ is called the beast from the sea, and the false prophet the beast from the earth.  In 2 Thessalonians 2 Paul calls the anti-christ the man of lawlessness (Remember when Paul says the Day of the Lord will not happen until the falling away from God occurs and the man of lawlessness is identified?).

Referred to in scripture as the ruler who is to come, it is the anti-christ who confirms a covenant with the Jewish people for seven years, a step which in fact signals the beginning of the tribulation.  At the middle of the tribulation he enters the temple in Jerusalem and puts an end to sacrifice and offering. And at that temple he sets up an abomination that causes desolation until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.

You can read all about these two unusual individuals yourself.  Read how the anti-christ has evidently shockingly recovered from what must have been a fatal wound.  Read how the false prophet creates an image of the anti-christ that people worship.  The image causes everyone that does not worship it to be killed.  It also causes the requirement for everyone on earth to have a mark on their face or hand in order to be able to engage in the marketplace, to be able to buy and sell.  Elsewhere we read that anyone accepting the mark is lost indeed.

Obviously these two characters are under the influence and guidance of the devil.  Everyone on earth follows the beast.  And they worship the dragon (the devil) and the beast.

This strange team gains power in this tribulation period and rules from Jerusalem for 42 months.

It is during this period that the two witnesses God sends to Jerusalem testify for forty-two months.  The anti-christ and his associates cannot harm these two witnesses until their testimony is complete, after which they kill the two witnesses.  People everywhere celebrate and send gifts about.  But in three and a half days the two witnesses come back to life.  God calls them to “come up here” and they go up to heaven.

The anti-christ and the false prophet meet their end at the battle of Armegeddon, where they are seized and thrown into the lake of fire.

SO?
As true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ I do think it is our role to be standing up out there in this confused world, standing up for the Lord and his word and truth, standing right up to the moment when he comes and calls us.  Even if dire things are coming to the world, we can continue this good fight and hopefully God can draw people to Jesus through our efforts.  Right now it is not a great number that will be going with him.  But that can change.  And I think will.

So be alert.  Pay attention.  Be aware and ready to go when the Lord calls.  You don’t want to be here when the anti-christ rules.

Be alert to all that is happening.  Use that gift of discernment to excess.  Don’t be one of the many that are so incredibly naïve.  The planet is full of naïve and mentally blind people today (see 2 Corinthians 4:4).

And put Ephesians Chapter 6 to good use.  Protect yourselves as Paul described how to do there.
Remember, Jesus’ first warning about this time was to watch that you are not deceived.

* THE CHURCHES OF AMERICA ARE LETTING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DOWN

This sad truth is apparent to any serious born again, Spirit-filled believer in the Lord.  But it is still painful to read and contemplate.

How are they letting the people down?

·        -   Most teach nothing about the days we are living in and the imminent return of the Lord.  It is a subject they stay away from.  And when the Lord soon comes, lots of people are going to be shocked – by what happens, by where they stand.

·        -   Most teach virtually nothing about the Holy Spirit – who is one of the members of the Trinity, along with God the Father and God the Son, Jesus – and about all the wondrous gifts of the Spirit, such as divine healing, prophecy, miraculous works, discernment, and more.  Rather than guide their members to live lives of power in Jesus, they keep them domesticated as ineffective sheep.  The church members rarely if ever see the Holy Spirit operating in their services and lives.

·         -  Many churches even believe that divine healings and miracles ended centuries ago with the deaths of the original disciples.  They have no answer of course if ever confronted with the wonderful divine healings that occur daily or the miracles that happen.

·          - Way back in ancient Rome, believers in the Lord willingly went to their deaths rather than renounce Jesus.  They would not declare the emperor as their lord.  Why?  Because they knew Jesus, they knew God, they knew the Holy Spirit.  The Lord was real to them.  They lived in his guidance and truths and actions.  How many attendees of today’s churches have that knowledge or would act similarly?

·          - Numerous churches work tirelessly to increase membership.  They introduce all sorts of things to draw in new attendees.  They are more concerned with their relationship with people than with God, even though the Bible warns us all to let God be true and every man a liar.

·        -   Many newer churches and some older ones work tirelessly to gather funds to build a new building.  But it is not a new physical building they need!  America has an overwhelming number of church buildings.

We’re living in the last of the last days.  The one-world government is coming together right before our very eyes.  Really rough stuff is close at hand.  How many even notice?

Jesus said that the way is narrow and few are they who find it.  We hardly knew the truth of that message when we first read it, did we?

Amazing times.  Amazing truths.  Amazing stuff.

Keep Your Eyes on Jesus!

* A LIFE CHECKLIST FOR RIGHT NOW - YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO WAIT

Are you hearing these subjects preached and taught in your church:

·         -  The imminent return of Jesus…likely in your own lifetime.
·         -  The long list of Biblical prophecies of things to happen before Jesus’ return that have happened in recent years
·          - The amazing level of deception today in all levels and positions in society.  (Jesus’ first response when asked about the time of his return was to watch so as not to be deceived.).
·         -  The dramatic falling away from God in society.
·         -  The extraordinary anti-Christian actions taken by government and other groups today in so many areas of life (and how they relate to scripture).
·        -   Jesus and the full gospel message itself – who he is and all he did and still does….and who you are in him.
·          - The Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit – The Holy Spirit is one of the three members of the Trinity and the one active on earth in all believers today.  Divine healings, miracles, all still real and true today.
·         -  The fact that you can do the same things as Jesus, even greater.  He said that.

If you are not hearing these taught today, ask your pastor why not.  If he cannot give you a good answer or does not believe the above, get out of that church.  It is not a requirement of the Lord or the Bible that you go weekly to a false or dead church and sit under weak and false teaching.  Unless there is a great spiritual revival affecting many before the Lord returns, Jesus surely will not recognize as his believers a great number of those who call themselves Christians.

The Bible does speak about the benefits of being around believers, around those who can encourage you and through whom you can learn.  You do need to find those types of people where you live even if it is a small number and try to spend time with them.  I know that is difficult.  You would be amazed at the calls and emails and general requests we get from people over the years asking “where can we go to church.”  The lack of real churches is one of the reasons so many serious believers have taken to meeting in small groups outside the traditional mainstream churches.  Those small groups really become “real” churches.

One of the great concerns of serious ministers and believers today is the number of people (1) who are not born of water and the spirit as Jesus had said was required to be in the kingdom of God and (2) who sit in churches once a week where they receive dry, worldly oriented sermons or feel-good sermons and believe they are all right with God and the future.  There is little or no growth in Christian maturity.  Ministers in those churches will answer to God, but so will the people.

Do you truly know the Lord Jesus Christ?  Do you absolutely know you will go with him when he returns, that you are in the Kingdom of God now?

·       - Jesus himself said a person had to be born again, or born anew (or born from above to look at the original Greek) in order just to see the Kingdom of God.  To actually be in it, a person must be born of water and the Spirit.  This being born again is the actual receiving of a new spirit.  As the Bible says, initially a person is born of human parents.  But when a person is born again, or born anew, God himself becomes their father.  They receive a new spirit.  (See John 3:3-5 and John 1:12-13).  A key focus of the rest of life on earth for a born again person is working to rehab their mind and eventually get the physical body under control.  That is called renewing the mind in the Bible, and has to do with reading and studying the scriptures.

·         -  Paul speaking about how a person gets to this position declares that if a person confesses that Jesus is Lord and believes that God has raised Jesus from the dead, then he will be saved (Romans 10:9).  That “saved” uses a Greek word which means healed in all aspects of life.  When Paul says the word “believes” here, he is using a word that means absolute belief – such as you believe there is enough air in the room in which you are reading this right now to keep you alive, or else you would be running out.  Absolute belief.

·         - Or the famous John 3:16 statement of Jesus, that God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whosoever believes in him would not die but would have life eternal.  Again, that word believes that means absolute belief.

Do you have that absolute belief?  Do you believe in Jesus that way?  Another term that connotes such belief is knowing the Lord.  Do you actually know him?  When you pray, do you connect with him, with the Holy Spirit?  Do you have that absolute faith that your words are heard and received?

One clear sign of being in the Kingdom is noted by Paul when he says a person, having believed, is marked with a seal, the Holy Spirit who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance (Ephesians 1:13-14).

If you aren’t sure or don’t think you believe like that, ask Jesus to help you.  Ask him to be the Lord of your life.  Give your life to him.  Ask for forgiveness for your sins.  Jesus is always looking for people who pray prayers like that.  There is no formula, just a truthful recognition of who Jesus is and asking him to come into your life.

THE KEY POINT OF ALL THIS!
All around you notice that people really fall into two groups – those who truly believe and know Jesus, and everyone else.  That everyone else includes all those in other false religions such as muslims, buddhists, hindu, and so on, and it includes those who profess to be atheists, and it includes all those who go to church on Sunday but have never truly known the Lord nor truly in their heart committed to him.

We are living in the last of the last days.  The Lord is returning soon. There are some serious believers who truly know that.  And there are a great number of people who attend traditional and other churches where lukewarm sermons deal with none of the essentials of faith and belief, people who do not know the seriousness of the times.  Add to that of course the large number of people who just know nothing about the Lord.  Difficult times for us all, to be sure.

When Jesus comes, will he find faith on earth?  The most important question for you – will he find that faith in you?  And will you be ready?  What about those you know?

* A STORM WARNING AND CALL TO ACTION

It is time for believers to take action against this storm Matthew that is currently in the Caribbean.  According to the weather experts, many population areas are in the potential path of this storm.
But of course we know the Lord.  We know what he can do.  And we know what we can do in him.

In John 14:12-14 Jesus said these words:

12 … whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. (NIV)

What did Jesus do?  Healed the sick, cast out demons, fed thousands of people from just initially a tiny amount of food, and CHANGED THE WEATHER (see Mark 4:35-41 and Matthew 8:23-27)!  And much more of course.

In past times of dangerous storms we have called upon those on our distribution list and especially those in the possible path of the storm to go out on their decks and porches or just the land itself and face in the direction of the storm and in Jesus name order the storm to dissipate, to go away, to turn away, to weaken.  Order the winds to be no greater than 20 miles an hour.  Order it to go out to sea.  All those things.  All in Jesus name.  Speak to the storm just as Jesus did.

You can do those things.  We can, in Jesus’ name.  We have, for years.  I’ve sent messages like this one out several times in the past and you and we have taken action and God has honored that!

Some years ago a powerful storm came directly toward where we live on the coast, and we and others took such action.  The storm roared up and stopped a few miles off shore.  It stayed there.  And we all kept ordering it away in Jesus’ name.  It stayed about a week!  And then it turned and went away.

God’s words are truth.  They work.

Exercise what Jesus has given you.  Do it.

May God bless you all.

Keep Your Eyes on Jesus!
