We are today beginning to post on Twitter a series of important videos that will continue right up to the time the Lord returns. These are being posted on our account on Twitter. All are chosen for their pertinence to where we are right now in time.

Go to our Twitter account and you will see the video to watch. Just click on it. The one posted today focuses on how it all happens when Jesus comes to collect his believers.

* SIGN OF THE TIMES: MANY CANNOT SEE THE TRUTH

All of us are witness to one of the most troubling and frightening aspects of our time – the fact that many people just cannot see the truth at all. Not only can they not see the truth, but their ideas and views are terribly irrational and do not tie in with the history of the country or the Christian faith. It is nearly impossible to have any sort of discussion of issues with such people.

All this is not really surprising to any who have studied the end times, just depressing and disturbing. In 2 Thessalonians 2: 10-11, Paul says such people

perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason, God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Who can deny that many out there just cannot seem to understand truth in any situation. They are readily willing to believe the lie and to act on the lie. We could go further with this by citing the passage in Isaiah 5:20 that refers to calling evil good and good evil. I think we readily see that happening today as well.

We all pray and hope for a great last days’ awakening, for as many as possible to hear the truths of God and respond. But apparently many won't. Look at the words of the angel to Daniel in Daniel 12: 10 about our day:

Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

It is pretty obvious there are people who just are not going to hear the truth, will remain lost, will remain in the wicked camp. These will not be in the Kingdom of God but rather will end up in the lake of fire for eternity.

This makes our lives and our responsibilities difficult and challenging. We who are believers certainly want to help others become born again and become citizens of the Kingdom. And so we pray for the Father to lead specific people to Jesus. We ask the Holy Spirit for guidance in our speaking to specific people about Jesus. We ask for the Spirit to arrange encounters, to set up divine appointments. And well we should. The Lord certainly gave us all the challenge of getting the Gospel out there.

But still the fact remains that there are those who will not and cannot hear. Once again we must remember the Lord's words in Matthew 7: 14:

…small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

* SIGN OF THE TIMES: LONG ENOUGH

It has been almost two thousand years since Jesus overcame death and reconciled humanity to God and thus gave the opportunity to all who truly believe in him to become citizens of the Kingdom of God.

Two thousand years.

Long enough. That’s what I think. And quite apparently he and his father think the same thing.

In a very short time the Lord will be taking the next step in God’s plan for humanity. He will come to collect his believers, who will meet him in the air and receive the promised glorious new bodies. Paul describes this in detail in 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 and in 1 Corinthians 15:51-54. Jesus is specific about how he sends his angels to come to collect his sheep in these last days of this human age.

The seven year terrible Tribulation period will follow during which God pours out his wrath on the world and the evil Anti-Christ seeks to rule a one-world government. At the end of that period, Jesus and all his holy ones defeat the armies of the world at Armageddon, and then the thousand year period known as the millennium begins with the seat of the physical Kingdom of God based in Jerusalem and Jesus’ believers ruling with him

Time is just about up for this current age.

After Jesus soon collects his believers there will still be an opportunity for people to come to Jesus during the seven year Tribulation period, but at a great and difficult physical cost. These are the great multitude of believers seen in heaven in chapter 7 of Revelation.

And perhaps more people on earth will have the opportunity to come to Jesus during the millennium. At the end of this millennium many on earth amazingly side with the devil to fight against God again. The devil loses that battle too.

But that is all way off. We are focused right now on the imminent return. So do what Jesus said in Luke 21:36 - “WATCH!” Be ready. And don’t hesitate to go when he gives the command from the clouds. I expect that command will be “Come Up Here!”, the same thing God says to the two witnesses in Jerusalem in Revelation 11.

Don’t let lying, deceiving people all around steal your future and hope, steal your joy. Keep your eyes on Jesus no matter what. Do and live the will of Jesus’ father, the will of God. Have the innocent absolute faith of little children. And absolutely believe in him.

Remember:

The only thing that really matters is Jesus and your relationship with him

* SIGN OF THE TIMES: PLUNDERED

We believers know the times we are living in. We know that evil is rampant, that the evil one sees his days are numbered. We know we are rapidly moving to the end of this human age, that there are evil forces at work laboring toward a one-world government, that evil surely is behind so many of the terrible things we see happening every day. We are aware of that.

But there is much more to think about. What if all people, or the majority, were well versed in what is happening in the spiritual realm and were true believers in the Lord? What if they knew the various protections that God has provided for his people? What if they knew the authority the Lord has given them, how they can cast out demons and so much more? Might the environment be different? I’ll say.

And stepping away from the spiritual realm for a moment and just looking at the secular world in the US for example, think on this: Consider the dreadful things happening in several large cities such as Portland and San Francisco and Chicago and states like Oregon and California and more. In such places leaders have chosen not to enforce the law in many instances, leading to rampant disorder and danger. It seems priorities have been given to criminals over victims. Police forces have been weakened. And more. Or perhaps you want to think on a larger scale – consider the millions of illegal aliens crossing the southern border from a variety of countries, many perhaps seeking a better life but also quite a few being highly dangerous and members of drug gangs and smugglers and perhaps even potential terrorists. All this happens with no enforcement of traditional laws regarding what is a nation and who is allowed to enter.

And then in these instances, think about this: Who put the mayors and governors and district attorneys in the disastrous areas in place, and who elected the national government and the apparently terribly weak Congress? Isn’t that the citizens of these areas? Don’t the people have some responsibility.

Thus the final question:

Don’t citizens bear the responsibility for those elected officials now found so derelict in their duties? They apparently did not know who or what they were voting for. Why not? John Adams warned against an immoral voting citizenry. But what also about an uninformed or uncaring voting public? Did they just want others to handle the problems and not to be bothered themselves? If so, they are now suffering the consequences of not putting in the effort to make informed and intelligent votes.

Remember, if the head of the house was alert he would not have allowed his home to be broken into! (See Mt 24:43)

Americans, your homeland has been broken into and is being plundered.

* TO GOD ALONE BE THE GLORY - Rembrandt's RAISING OF THE CROSS

This is one of the great paintings from the Reformation. Notice Christ on the cross being lifted up and put in place. Notice the man at the foot of the cross wearing the beret. That is Rembrandt. He is putting Christ up on the cross. He is putting it in place.

What is Rembrandt saying in this painting? What is his message? He is saying I put Christ on that cross. My sins put him up there. Rembrandt has recognized and painted the essential truth. It is and was our sins that put Christ on the cross. He went there to die for us, for you and me, to cover our sins.

Because he lives – because he died the way he did and then rose from the dead - Jesus has earned for each true believer in him eternal life with him and his father. He has earned forgiveness for each of us. He overcame the world, and in him we do too. Jesus did so many things I have written about before, but this is the key one – he reconciled human beings to God. He took our sins upon himself and removed that unsolvable burden. He gave us our lives again.

*SIGN OF THE TIMES: HELPING THOSE LEFT BEHIND

We are right at the end of this human age, as I hope all who read our materials know. Jesus is soon to come to collect his believers, and the seven year Tribulation will begin. The majority of people will be left behind on the earth to endure that horror and to try to survive the government of the Antichrist and the terrible actions of the false prophet. Many do not.

Once Jesus has collected his believers and departed, there will at that moment not be any believers in the Lord living on earth. Imagine the horror. But there will surely be those who had thought they were Christians but really had not known the Lord and perhaps had just gone to a church from time to time. These people especially might realize what they have missed and might search hard for the Lord, going to get videos and books from church and ministry libraries. And some of them will become the Tribulation saints in Revelation 7:9-17.

Certainly all of us know others who will not be going with Jesus if he were to come right now. Family, relatives, friends, co-workers, neighbors. It doesn’t matter how nice people are. It matters whether they have been born again, born of water and the Spirit as Jesus defined….and whether they truly believe in Jesus. It matters that they seek to do the will of God and whether they have the faith of little children.

What can you do to help those left behind, regardless of how much they may or may not have known? Certainly you can leave out in full public view in your home things that will help. In our house we have our CD we recorded several years ago, WHERE ARE THEY?, lying out in the living room on a table in full view, along with a copy of our book WAKE UP AMERICA! JESUS IS COMING SOON. You can get either by going to the store in the menu column on our ministry website homepage or by contacting the ministry.

Also leaving a Bible in view with key sections marked would be a good idea. Sections surely to include would be 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18; Luke 21, Matthew 24, Mark 13, John 3, Revelation 6 – 20. There are many more you might pick.

Another key thought would be to leave instructions for people to go to the Return of Jesus Resources page on our ministry website. (Hopefully ministry sites like ours will be left on the Internet then!). They can just click on that subject in the menu column on the homepage. That Return page has all sorts of links and information that would help, links to key writings and to key videos and more.

Another possibility is for you to write and leave in view a letter to anyone explaining in your own words where you have gone and what the reader should do.

It really is true dear friends and partners. Jesus really is coming soon. I know just a few years ago probably none of us thought we would be seeing this day so soon, but the time is now here. It is now. When the last person that God intends to truly accept Jesus as Lord during this time period does so, Jesus will undoubtedly be here in a flash.

To the extent possible, share your faith and the truth of the times and Jesus’ return with others. Ask the Holy Spirit to arrange divine encounters and to guide your conversations with others. And still remember, only God the Father can draw someone to Jesus. We can all help in this, but in the end he does the drawing. Jesus said that himself.

May God bless you and your family as you go forward in these times. Looking around at all that is happening in our country and elsewhere is surely troubling - other than occasionally seeing a place where a revival has sprung up such as the recent Asbury University example. Hopefully there will be more before Jesus comes, but the time is short. Perhaps during the Tribulation itself there will be a great end times revival among some of the people left behind, those Tribulation saints.

* WATCHMAN WARNING: THE OPEN DOOR THAT NO ONE CAN SHUT

[the following is almost entirely scripture put together with a few connecting sentences]

What Christ opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. Do not let him say of you as God said of the Israelites that my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Stay focused on the Lord and be alert. In contrast to the lost masses of this generation, follow the steps below. Remember, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.

Let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things

Rejoice always,pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not treat prophecies with contempt but test them all; hold on to what is good,reject every kind of evil.

God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

There will be terrible times in these last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Watch that you are not deceived. Many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

Our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day [the Day of the Lord] will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction [the Antichrist]. I would say we are well into the rebellion, the falling away from God; the Antichrist though has not yet been revealed.

The Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. We will all be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

Remember Jesus’ words on the last page of the Bible:

“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

“Yes, I am coming soon.”

Amen. Come Lord Jesus.
