* NO EXCUSES FOR TRUE BELIEVERS

Despite all the signs about, the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, the extraordinary behavior of leaders and countries and more, some people who say they are Christians just cannot come to grips with where we are in time.  In the February newsletter I sought to highlight some of the things happening right now that demonstrate how confused and lost society is in general.  Well, now in this Sign of the Times, I give four extraordinary examples.  If you cannot recognize the last days in the events below, you need to pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit and for clarity of thought, especially for the gift of discernment.
  • The Pope called a reporter for an Italian newspaper and said that the US has a “distorted vision of the world” and Americans must be ruled by a world government, as soon as possible, “for their own good.” The Pope also prayed toward Mecca, stated that Islam is a religion of peace, and that Europe should open borders to Muslims.
  • Just a few days ago on the popular daytime television program THE VIEW, one of the hosts referred to Vice President Mike Pence’s faith as a mental illness.
  • Recently three pastors and a rabbi gathered in Bethesda Maryland to bless an abortion clinic.
  • Two Sundays ago a Lutheran church in New Jersey celebrated the move of a pastor from being a woman to being a “man.” A Lutheran bishop was there to join in the celebration and called Pastor Rose Beeson “Peter.”
We are way past the birth pains of the last days.  We are deep into the times of deception and delusion.  I think we are about at the time when God causes those who refuse to love and accept the truth to be greatly deceived and to accept the lies of the devil.  We are hearing from such lost people all the time these days.

Watch that you are not deceived.  And endeavor to be clear-minded and self-controlled so you can pray.

Don’t sit still like a rock on a wall; if you are a true believer in the Lord then you have assignments, even if you don’t think you do.  At the very least you should be praying for God to draw nonbelievers to Jesus and praying for the Holy Spirit to arrange whatever encounters he would have you have with those who do not believe so that he might share the gospel truth through you.

Beyond this ask God what specific role he has for you in these last days.  Remember, you can call out to him and he will answer you and show you great and hidden things you do not know.

May our God bless each and every one of you.

Keep Your Eyes on Jesus!
