I hope the terrible murder of widely loved Christian leader Charlie Kirk has finally waked up many believers and even some nonbelievers who strive to live moral lives. Like nothing before, the response of the lost far left element of society has been eye-opening and revealing.
At all levels we have seen persons celebrating this murder. Teachers and administrators, university leaders and professors, media personalities, and many others at all positions of life.
It is one thing not to agree with a person. It is quite another to celebrate the murder of that person.
Paul talked in 2 Thessalonians 2 about all those perishing in our midst. Who are they? People who refuse to accept the truth – the gospel, Jesus. They are lost. And without knowing God and his protection for their lives, they are ready prey for the devil, for the evil one who is running rampant in these very last days.
Not only are these ungodly people clearly lost, but the level of their hate, of the evil within them, is enormous and cannot be missed by any believer.
I have been impressed by the extent to which some organizations have quickly fired people celebrating Charlie’s murder. But can they handle all those behaving thusly? And how many are hiding their ungodly hatred? And firing does not change their views of life.
Surely we all realize we can’t have such people teaching our children in public schools or in college, but that is what is happening. Where do you think these misguided angry demonstrating young people get their ideas from?
Throughout the halls of government and education and elsewhere, wherever you look, there are so many ungodly led by the devil.
We are in the very last days. The Bible notes in more than one place how eventually God gives such lost people over to a spirit of delusion. I doubt any rational person could fail to recognize the delusion among such lost people as we have seen and read about lately.
Add to this all the other horrific crimes we have seen in recent days by truly godless persons such as the murder of the Ukrainian young woman in Charlotte and you realize just how extensive the lawlessness and godlessness is in society.
And not just in America of course. No, in European countries too.
The UK moves ever more to clamp down on free speech, protecting dangerous immigrants who have terribly harmed many Britons while the government ignores the pleas of the citizens. You may not be aware that there are massive demonstrations there now from British citizens who have at last recognized how lost the government is. I would not be surprised to see a true civil war soon there. Other nations like Germany and France are in similar turmoil.
These are the very last days. The Lord is coming soon to collect His believers. Who? Believers. No one else. The mass of the population will be left behind to endure the horrible tribulation period.
As always do all you can to help the Father draw unbelievers to Jesus. And use the tools he has given us to protect yourself and your family. Remember the Lord Jesus is never going to lose you (his believers).
