* SIGN OF THE TIMES: WHO DID JESUS SAY HE IS?

  

 

 

[Recently I posted this on X (Twitter), and I wanted all of you to see it. Simple but direct and crystal clear.  These are Jesus’ comments to the high priest, to Pilate, and to the woman at the well.]

 

Have you heard people say Jesus never said he was the Son of God, or the Messiah? Well, I just want to clear that up right here:

 

 

“Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.” [said by the high priest]

 

“Yes, it is as you say,” Jesus replied. - Matthew 26:63-64

 

 

Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?”

 

 “I am,” said Jesus. - Mark 14:61-62

 

 

They all asked, “Are you then the Son of God?”

 

He (Jesus) replied, “You are right in saying I am.” - Luke 22:70

 

 

So Pilate asked Jesus, “Are you the king of the Jews?”

 

“Yes, it is as you say,” Jesus replied. - Luke 23:3

 

 

“You are a king, then!” said Pilate.

 

Jesus answered, “You are right in saying I am a king.” - John 18:37

 

 

The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”

 

Then Jesus declared, “I who speak to you am he.” - John 4:25-26

 

 

 

Jesus in his own words was the Son of God, the King of the Jews, and the Messiah, the Christ. He was the one and only perfect sacrifice that could pay the price for our sins, and he did. His going to and through the cross was the only way humanity could be reconciled to God. He was the only way for God to accomplish that reconciliation and he is the only way for you and me to God.

 

And I add to all this, he is coming soon to collect his believers.  So very soon.  America and the world are falling morally like a stone.  But you are a believer in the Lord and you know the truth.  Watch!  as he warned.  Be alert for his imminent return at a time and moment we do not know.  And do all you can to help the Father draw others to Jesus.  Ask the Holy Spirit for guidance and help in all this and to arrange divine encounters.

 

Always remember, the only thing that really matters is Jesus and your relationship with him.
